How are most of our products preservative free?
Harsh preservatives are your enemy; they can disrupt your hair game in several ways, including fading your hair color, irritating your scalp, drying, and even hair loss. Most of our products are formulated with dehydrated organic ingredients that are long-lasting on their own. This way, we’re able to use NO water, and ZERO preservatives, the perfect recipe for concentrating nutrients and vitamins to bring about that super soft and shiny look you love. If we do have any water based products, we only used organic plant based preservatives.
Are we vegan, zero waste, and sustainable?
Although there is no 100% vegan and 100% zero waste, we try our best to minimize our environmental footprint. We source 80% of our ingredients from suppliers who are much about sustainability. They get their ingredients through sustainable organic farming, use wildcrafted and harvested plants, and operate in energy-efficient facilities. It took us a lot of time, money, and energy to find these suppliers, but we believe it was worth it for you, and our environment. So far, we’ve been able to minimize the waste we put out by about 70% through recycling pretty much everything we can. We’re not where we want to be now in terms of sustainability, but we will continue to put in our best.
What is the consistency of my product supposed to be?
The consistency of the products may vary based on the ingredients in them. For example, our Herbal Hydration Hair Mask has a thick paste consistency because of the heavier concentration of lipids and natural oils. Our Butter Up styling Cream, on the other hand, has a milky concentration. You can rest assured that the consistency of all our products are ideal and guarantee ease-of-use and effectiveness.
What is the shelf life of my beauty product?
One full year! This is more than enough time to complete several rounds of treats to get that soft, super shiny, and healthy hair you want. Remember our products are 100% organic? We’re able to keep them this long with zero preservatives by dehydrating the individual ingredients and grinding them to powder.
Are dehydrated products better than fresh ones?
They’re actually better! Surprised? We were surprised too when we first found out. The water content is typically extracted by sun-drying. As the ingredients dry and the water goes out, the nutrients and vitamins become concentrated. The phenomenon is similar to what happens when you boil salt-water solution. As more water evaporates, the solution becomes increasingly salt. Eventually, it’ll get to a point where only the salt is left... just like our organic ingredients. However we do offer a leave-in conditioner called “Fresh”, which is made with real aloe vera, and fresh coconut milk.
I have sensitive skin can I use this product?
Yes, you can! Our products are safe and effective even for the most sensitive hairs, as they’re 100% organic. They’re entirely free from synthetic chemicals such as paraben, formaldehyde, Phthalates, and the like that gradually damage the hair over time.

This is applicable not just for our products, but all others you may be using. All the ingredients added to each of our products are listed on the labels for you to see.
